Hi Melveo,
I've decided that I’m also going to do the control arms while I’m down there.
Just so I don't have to go back and do it when one of them breaks, with my luck, it will be sooner rather than later.
Thanks for your reply and help!

Id start simple first. In my 2008 ave05 the tire pressure placard says 31 psi which is too low and can cause wear on both shoulders. Of your placard says less than 35 psi set them to 35. Whenever you go to a shop they may reset it to 31 psi like they do me. Another thing that could cause outside edge wear other than those tearing control arms would be cornering too hard or cornering with tires set below 35psi.

Thanks Phrick!
Great advice, I’ll be sure to implementthe higher pressure when I get home.
Now that I replaced the inner/outertie rods, control arms , sway bars and got an alignment the car is running likea dream.
I don't have a swaybar went to coilovers
Hey Melveo,
Coilovers? I'm curious, how do they work? How are they better?
I would say yes even without the endlinks. The rear alone helps with the sagging when the trunk is loaded. Car is planted and handles well without a lot of body roll. Also looks good. I maxed mines out to go low as possible. Ride quality is good on smooth roads but it get bouncy on bad roads and you feel every single bump I have custom springs in the rear. Look at the coilovers cross post. I'm in the last few pages that shows when I did mines. 8 months later I get people all round trying to get me to install them
