Swapped 185/65/14 to 205/55/15
Trying to figure out how to post picture on here .
i'm gonna put this into the miata calculator:
185/65/r14
205/55/r15
ok so it says the difference is a whopping 1.7%
thats really close to the original car, even tire wear can eat up 1.7% easy
plus the cornering, but theres one more thing you need for great cornering - the rear sway bar. 40mph turns thats what the guy said, and you know what? Probably need a sway bar

One more thing I forgot to add to this discussion, its a saying I read:
1 pound of rotating mass is worth 5 pounds of other mass
soo one thing.. 15 inch rims have a larger rotating mass than 14" rims, soo I would go for the 185/55/r14 rims because their rotating center of mass is on a smaller diameter
you gotta wind the motor up more though
lets look this up on the Miata calculator: it says -6.2% that means more torque, I'd go for 185/45/r14 but nobody manufactures this
