You should find a set of used VW wheels for a mk1 to mk3 Golf or Jetta, better quality, same bolt pattern, cheap, you just need to change your nuts so that they seat properly inside the wheels and you are done.

Voted apathetic on appearance. They're really similar.

I'm a weight weenie though: whichever is lighter (all else being equal) would get my nod.

I'm with metro weight weenie, they're so similar that the lighter one would get my vote.

Here is my latest updates on wheels, my car and what not..... Been super busy with work and moving out of my place in Raleigh. I have a spoiler to put on my car and then to install coil over springs. Those are my next two big projects. I finally got tools in my place in Seneca where I can do such...now that it has decided to quit raining maybe this weekend for the spoiler.

I was forced in buying tires for the car which commits me to my current wheels just a bit longer. Once I get my suspension re-worked I can then start looking at that option. At least when I make that commitment I can then compare good suspension crappy wheels and give an evaluation on performance.

So back to work and do yet an other firmware download....sigh.
