will this works? it's called the vw passat hammerhead wheels, any comments, ideas?

and what is the offset? will the wheels can be seen wider, like the edge of the tires is going closer to the fender?

if i want that "wheel edge closer to the fender so it looks wider" do i want higher rating of offset or lower rating of offset?

and what is the stock offset?

The lower offset moves the wheels out. Those wheels should fit, as long as they dont hit the carriers.

the stock offset of the 5.5" rim is about 42.. (i think, it might be 38-46)..

It doesnt really matter all that much as its a 5.5" rim..

The 5.5-6.5 (common) vw rim is in the high 30's, typically 38. Most common aftermarket rims are 7" wide.

The carrier is the part that holds the pads and caliper. On an aveo, it has bar that sits in front of the rotor. That is the primary thing you will hit on any wheel, regardless of offset.

The "ideal" offset for the effect is different depending on rim width, and will be staggered front and rear.

how will 15x7 +38 rim fit in there?
can i put 195 tires on 7" wide rims,
without lowering will the rim hit anything?
will it sticks out a bit ?

they will look oem, and yes 195 fits a 7" rim.

will it hit anything with heavy load?
will it likely cause rubbing or whatever unpleasant? (not gonna lower the car anyway)

how about 16x7 +38 ?

any wheel width of up to 7" fits perfectly fine. especially in the 35-42 mm offset, the only thing you need to worry about is the spoke design hitting the caliper. which for most oem style wheels you will be fine. my suggestion, with any wheels you consider buying, is jack up one of the front wheels and test fit it really quick.
