What differance will these larger diameter wheels make as far as rubbing...
My current set of 14" set of stock steelies will be saying goodbye this weekend or early next week as I am trading them to another aveo owner in my area for a set of 16" set of Aluminum Alloy rims.
My question for any one is: How bad will the new set up rub with stock suspension? The current set is 185/60R14 and the new set is 205/55R16. I am aware that with each 1" increment you go up on the rim size that usually the sidewall measurement decreases by 10. So a 14" would be 60. A 15" would be 50 and a 16" would be 40. Yet I see several people on here with 17" rims with 40 series tires.
I am aware that the overall larger diameter 55 on 16" would play with my speedometer a bit but not much.
I'm really just doing the trade for the 16" Aveo Alloy rims and plan to put 205/40ZR16's on them this fall.Attachment 9664Attachment 9665Attachment 9666Attachment 9667Attachment 9668Attachment 9669
