What do your wheel/tire combination weigh?

      My stock 2008 Aveo5 LT steel wheels/Kumho P185/60x14/plastic facias/lug nuts weigh 32.0 lbs each.

My MAAS M203 17x7.5 rims/Hankook Ventus Hrii H405 205/40x17/lug nuts weigh in at 42.0 lbs each

Damn, those tires are heavy. I can feel it on turn in. It'll probably go through bearings pretty quick.
But, it is a tad less noisy, night and day stopping power, very good feel on the road, and they look soooooo good.

You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

Re: What do your wheel/tire combination weigh?

For my lacetti my street wheels/tires come in at 42#s and my track wheels/tires are 41#s. They are both 17x8 5zigen fno1r-C with 235/40/17" tires. Street tires are falken fx452 which I recommend to everyone and my track tires are Toyo RA-1s which will soon be replaced with the (maybe 245mm) R888s. I run lightweight lugs as well but they're not nearly as light as some of those $100+ a set lugs from buddy club and others but they did drop 1/2# from each wheel over normal chrome lugs.

For my lanos I'm still shopping but it looks like I'm going with a 16x7 rota slipstreams with 205/45/16 Falken Ziex Ze 912 which come in at just under 34#s total. For the track (which is still a long way away) I'd like a 15x7.5 225/50/15 toyo R888 but I doubt I'll go with a brake kit small enough since it costs allot more due to more custom bits. That combo would be 35#s.

For me I won't ever go over 20# per wheel for anything less than 17x9. There always seams to be a big weight difference between 16s and 17s even when compared to 15s vs 16s or 17s vs 18s. So for 16x8 or less 15# is what I almost always keep it under, usually just under 14#. For 17x9 and less I usually keep it under 19#.

For those of you looking at wheels I recommend 5zgien fno1r-C for 17+. For some reason they aren't very light for anything smaller so for the smaller ones I recommend rotas...I prefer the slipstream. The 17+ size slipstreams aren't bad either. The fno1r-c are $155-$200 each but the slipstreams are as cheap as $500 shipped for 16x7. I've gotten 17x7.5 slipstreams for $450 shipped and 17x8 fno1r-Cs for $675 shipped once
