I've been running my original tires (185/60R14) at 40 psi and at 30000 miles they're wearing perfectly even.

I have 205/40/R17 Cooper Zeon ZPT's on my 09'. I think I've got about 2500 miles on them total running at 46-48lbs and I've noticed hardly any wear at all so far. In the winter I run about 35lbs for better traction. I do lose a little bit of fuel economy with the pressure up so high, but I've noticed my acceleration is sharper, smoother and more consistant. It handles much better around the turns too. They're rated for 50lb max.
