What "shops" ?

So I'm pretty new on this forum, I"ve been lurking and reading for a few weeks now. I recently picked up an 07 aveo sedan and i'm looking to get a few things done as time and money permits. Here's my thing: I've called and/or stopped in to a few different shops and none of them do aftermarket installs, they'll only replace with oem. I'd like to get a set of H&R springs put on and some exhaust work done. Who is everyone else going to?

for the most part we do it ourselves. all the info you need is in the search bar and if you cant find it there ask one of the seniors they alot about these little cars

you need a speed type shop, not a muffler or tire shop.

So after a few phone calls, I think I've found a shop that'll do the exhaust work and install lowering springs. I just have to make time to stop by and talk to them about setting up an appointment. I'm hoping to get the magnaflow 60 series and then install H&R springs. We'll see how it goes. Thanks for the suggestions.
