what size wheel are we talking about?
I got Nitto NT450s (P195/50R15 81V) some 99 Miata 15x7 rims and H&R springs and i'm fine... if any of this means anything...
we've got 205/40/17's
of course they dont raise the car at all, otherwise your speedo will be out.
dont get any scrubbing, but the car isn't lowered yet and this would also depend on the offset of the rim. these are very wide-spaced, and i think i've heard it scrub just slightly when close or on the bump-stop, but should still be fine even when lowered.

i just thought id let you know it does raise your car when you put 205/40/17's on, i measured it before..its about .5" to 1" taller....Quote:

get 16" there big and they dont hinder performance.
RUNNING 16" HERE ....JUST CANT SEEM TO BREAK IN THE 120MPH BRACKET.... :lol:
performance? theres nothing performance about a small hatch with 100HP
17's are fine for everyday driving. how many aveo's will ever see the track?

well i guess 16's would be ok...ive lowered it as well so i jes dont know what im gonna do...
it shouldnt offset the speedometer ne way b/c the speed sensor is behind the hub and wheel...if it does...i have someone at the dealership that'll reflash it for me
my aveo is going to see the track quite soon....and with a turbo or supercharger it is quite likely that the 17" would hinder its performance a quite a bit.Quote:
