      wheel questions

So, there's some wheels locally with a 48 offset and a 4x114.3 bolt pattern. Would a 1"/25mm spacer adapter cause any rubbing if I went with 185 tires ? I am on stock ride height but plan on getting coilovers when pr's end link kit is available. Would this stick out the fenders too much?

i think it would be close when you go lower.. that is "almost" like 1" space on the stock wheels.

You would have to pull the fronts and roll the rear.

Classic, I assume you are talking about when it gets lowered? What do you mean by pull the fronts? Rolling the rears shouldnt be too big of a deal when I lower it. went ahead and bit the bullet and got them anyways. $100 for four rims was a price I couldnt pass up, worst case scenario I sell them for more than I paid. Bought the spacers and hub adapters too

Also, what If i do like 1" of stretch?

It would help but 185s wont give that kind of stretch 175 would. What i mean by pull the fronts is on my body aveo iI had to pull the fronts about a half inch for the spacers so the tires would not rub on the fender and i did that with a good Phonebook It sounds weird but jack the front driver or pass and put a phone book and hold it at an angle where it goes between the face of the tire and the insideofthe fender let the the jack down and drive the car back and forth till the book falls out DONT Turn The wheels just forward and back. The adapters should come with there own studs so be carefull when you trim yours down. But you might have wider front fenders being its and newer body but just work with it. If you have tire questions on stretching go to tyrestretch.com good luck

I almost forgot use a heat gun when you do this to heat up the gel coat on the fenders or it might crackthe paint...That is all

Gonna go with some federal formozas 165 45 r15 with 2" of stretch. The VW guys seem to love them

also, question, do the raceland coilovers have adjustable camber? Ive seen some do and some dont. I want a little negative camber, gotta stance betty!

No they dont. If you want camber you need bolts for the front and camber shims or plates in the rear. I have it to where i can go between -1-3 degrees in the rear and -1 in the front the rear i use shims and washers along with my 1inch rear spacers i like it and you dont go through tires to much because our cars are so light lol. If you go on vwvortex they have info on actual camber plates but im runnig into some dead ends. but id like to custom make them and sell them on here. good luck on the stretch i had to buy a cheetah tank to mount mine but it couldnt hold enough pressure to pop them on 155 60 15 on an 8 in wheel fun stuff it can be done but i cant do it here. When you get them mounted let me know id like to see it.
