Wondering if I can put a bigger wheel and tire set on my 2010 Aveo. I currently have the factory steel 15" wheels and am wondering if I went up to a 16 or 17 if I would get a little better handling?

Those wheels are only 14s...
If you want to keep the speedo right you can only go lo profile 16s iirc
The wheels and tires I have are 15's. Maybe I should just stay with factory size?
just going to a more performance oriented tire would improve handling. And a 195/50r15 tire size would add to that while staying close to the same size.
Pickles, i'm going to have to CORRECT you here, I have the OFFICIAL 2010 Brochure in front of me ATM, and there are THREE Wheel choices: a 14" steel wheel with bolt on cover (standard on the LS and 1LT trim lines) a 15" 5 spoke aluminum alloy (available on LT) and a 15" Steel Wheel with Bolt on Cover. (Standard on the 2LT Trim Package) and i bet the OP's car is a 2LT.
EDIT: after looking closely at the OP's Provided Picture and comparing it to the picture of the 15" wheel cover in the Brochure, they were an EXACT MATCH.
Im sorry, im gonna go away now...lol
But my previous comment stands nexen n3000 are the bomb diggity shiggity wiggity do-wop
I just went with a 195/65/14 instead of the stock 185's. Made a huge difference on both mine and my wifes Aveos. Took away alot of the wandering within the lane.
Missing our beloved 1st gen Aveos everyday!
Silence is golden. Duct tape is silver!!
04 Aveo (mine gone but never forgotten)
07 Aveo 5 (wifes car gone but never forgotten)
02 Suburban (Eats gas stations as snacks)
12 Cruze Eco 6MT (46mpg daily? Holy crap!)
12 Sonic 2LT (Wifeys new wheels)
Chevoo-1/2 Chevy, 1/2 Daewoo. I mean like WTF?
The 195/50r15 size does not seem to be all that easy to find? At least not online and in an all season configuration. Tire Rack only lists 2 and they are not very good tires for my geographical location. Probably have better luck locally?
