I think I spoke to you on the other forum so like I said, I think black with a chrome lip would look good.
yeah u dud talk to me on the other forum...thanx again for directing me to this site....but yeah thats the color combo im leaning towards right now...anyone have pics of black wheels and the chrome lips on there cars?
Heres a real quick mock-up of black wheels w/chrome lip on my car. As you can see the angle isnt quite right, but you get the idea at least.

wow that looks great. is that how 17s would look on my car then or is yours lowered a bit? i like the stance of the wheels and what not
i say go all black with no chrome lip....its usually alot cheaper than with. also get some nice 16x7's....once again they are alot cheaper than 17's and you can fit a thicker tire to protect your investment, also the 17's will slow you down which really isnt good for this car since you dont have much to begin with
heres a site with some good deals for wheels....i personally think these are the badest 16x7 for the price... and pretty light at only 16lbs a piece...these with lowering springs and your car will be a sexy beast

well im not really looking to get alot speed from the car...just looks...im sure down the road i may try to do some engine stuff....but just goin for looks....that is the site im gettin my wheels...i realy like the looks of the falken torque 5 wheels
Yeah thats probably what 17"s would look like. Keep in mind though I just photoshopped those(over my 16"s) on there, so the ride height and such may be off. Yeah I have my car lowered with H&R springs.Quote:

Very easy to install, you just need to get you front struts compressed to get the spring on/off. WELL worth the money!!!
If you want to see what the torque 5's look like, just check mine out on my car domain. i got grey with chrome lip.
BTW, it's against ISO policy to write down that your product is ISO 9001 certified, which H&R has clearly done.
If any of you know what ISO 9001 is, you'll know what I mean. Doesn't mean they aren't good springs, just means that the company is saying things on the box it shouldn't.
My understanding was that companies get 9001 certified... not products...
Can you check my photoshop help post in the wheel and tire thread? I want to see what some black and chrome rims will look like on my keylime green aveo. the rim is a slightly different design than the one shown at the top of each page in this forum.Quote:

Bingo. ISO 9001 certification has nothing to do with products in fact, ISO 9001 doesn't even guaranty a good product. Enough off-topic ranting.Quote:

I dont regret getting mine, I'll take the sacrifice. Im more for looks because im not gonna make it fast. You will need 205/35/18 tires. 215 will work too but I didnt want to push it when I was buying them. Best bet is just tell them the rim you want and not for what car, or internet. So to order them you need 18"x7" 4x100 bolt pattern and the 205/35's.Quote:
