i think its worth it, it looks really good and the car handles so much better, im running H&R's but there are also eibach, intrax, and i know theres another company but i cant remember what it is
will they rub with 17s?Quote:

very slight to no rubbing with 17x7 205/40's and h&r springs
H&R FTW

Hell yes it's worth it...your handling will improve 100%
apex also makes springs but most people recommend H&R I dont know if we have enough around here on eibach's
im ridin eibachs. good ride quality, handling majorly improved, and no coil bind. id reccommend them.
front. the wheels were 40mm offsetQuote:

When you are talking about lowering this car, you aren't talking about straight up slamming it, because that causes it's own set of problems. With a mild spring set 1" and 1-1/3" you are talking just enough to lower the profile of the car. It looks tasteful, I believe, and will do you well.
Everything in moderation.
Mines lowered with intrax springs and 17" wheels with 205/40R17. Not one problem so far with rubbing.
My wife rolled her wave because of the crappy suspension these cars have, she just got her new one today and will have the springs in it by next week.
LOWERING SPRINGS ARE A MUST
are you talking about your wave?? is that the same thing as an aveo? and can you get a side pic of it so i can see how it looks.Quote:

I'll get a side shot for you later today, a before and after. The drop looks good, most people don't even know that it's droped.
The Aveo, Swift and Wave G3 are all the same, just different stickers.
thanks manQuote:

damn i like it.. thanks manQuote:

My main concern is like I said in some other thread, living in the Poconos with 6 months of snow, I don't know if it's something I should do.
I'm just going to get a set of winters with a height of 24-25". If I can't get my car out or there's a storm coming, I don't go out. There's too many asses out there and I'm not going to gamble on throwing it into a ditch, it's not worth the $200 a day I make to raise my insurance rates or worse, have to stay at home for a month plus with injuries.
What are the part numbers for the Intrax springs? Did you do it yourself? How much did it cost to do the job? Totally awesome lowered (compared to the stock height). I'm now sold on the idea.
I'll have a look for part number tomorrow. I did it at a friends shop, with him and I, 2 hours taking our time.
You can probably find a shop that will do a cash job for you, I would guess $100-130 with an alignment would be fair.
i was gettin quotes of 2-400$ w/out alignments. thats when i opted to just do it myself.Quote:
