Haha yeah, I need to relocate my plug, the dealership routed it there for my block heater, oil heater, trans heater and battery heater lol. I'm thinkin of just letting it hang behind my bumper or something. ??? Oh, NOTE: my headlights are photoshopped, before it comes up in forum I just wanted to see what they looked like smoked. I have since decide to do the DIY painting the inside black.

Grats! I have had my Aveo 4dr hatchback for 6 years with little upkeep and love it.
How is that working out for you up there? I own a 4 dr 2006 Aveo and wondered how they got along up there. Do you get stuck often? Is it a 4 wheel or just front wheel drive? I hope to be driving up with mine this summer/fall to Wasilla to live. Just wondering if I should trade it in for a Rav4 or something before heading up.

Well, it was front wheel drive. I traded it in for a GMC Canyon. As long as you have studs, and a flat driveway (my problem, steep driveway) you should be fine. Just make sure you have a block heater, or move to a home with a garage. Summers are great up here. Winters, my car did fine while the snow wasn't over 6 inches. After that, it got a little fun, but if you know what you are doing, you should be fine.

I'm in Wasilla. I just drove up last week from Medford Oregon. With the excetion of my five years spent on a submarine for the NAVY, I've lived between Wasilla and Kenai my entire life. I've got several off-road vehicals here in Wasilla. The
Aveo is my newest aquisition, and I have yet to see how it performs in the winter. If it's anything like my old Kia Rio, front chains and no-sway bars equals a great time =)

Ok I think I will keep it and see how it goes. I will have a garage to keep it in and its a flat short driveway. Thanks for your responses.
