Sweet, next time you're in town let me know! I almost went to Lansing last night but decided against it because of what they were saying about the weather. But I did apply online to a few places in Lansing, so maybe I will be moving that direction

ha! well this time it wont be out of state, lol. No I moved up to Michigan so the wife could be closer to her family, now this move may be so I can be closer to work if I get one of the jobs I applied for

WOOHOO!!! 8 inches of fresh snow to please me!!! gosh, im so excited bout this fresh new snow!

so this mornin was a bit of a strugle to get out the driveway. had 12" or higher drifts all around my car. so i let my car warm up a bit as i was cleanin her off and when i finished i had to back out. first i started by rollin forward about 2 feet to give me a lil bit of momentum for when i start goin backwards. i start to back up and vrrrroooommmmm......quiet. what the hell??? i look at my tach, im still doin about 1700 rpms and im not movin and i cant hear my car. i roll forward and ........::::::::::VVVVRRROOOOOMMMMMMMM i had packed my mufflers full of snow. it literally sounded like i had a stock exhaust for about 10 seconds. so i revved up a bit to blow out any remainin snow and trucked backwards somemore until about 3 minutes later i was out of the driveway. then when i finally get on the hwy, everyone is movin slow. why??? its only wet! i mean they literally salt the road, then come back and salt the salt a few more times. so everyone is doin 45-55 mph while i shoot past at almost 80 mph. so after havin a late start, and gettin stuck for a few minutes, and havin to clean 6+ inches of snow off my car, i still managed to make it to work with about 2 minutes to spare. and thats my snowtime story for this storm.

what did u guys get for snow? i know u guys are gonna get way worse than i with that freakin lake effect.

It's still snowing here, I'm worried about my car since it is lowered and I'm hoping a plow will come by before I have to go to work. We have at least 6-8 inches and it's still falling. I may have to borrow my mother-in-law's jeep

I got about 10 inches at my house. it took me about an hour and a half to snowblow my driveway. when i moved my aveo it didnt even spin the tires. The car only has 3000 miles on it. anyways i went to a redwings game last night and when i left at 10, the highways were pretty ****ty! thank god I took my wifes awd Equinox. I never dropped below 60 mph on the highway except for when traffic was backed up. I think i might take my wife''s ride to work tonight that way i dont risk hurting my new Aveo!
