I'm considering a move from Rochester Ny to Lee County Florida.
I wonder how long I could stand my Aveo without A/C. I dont mind the heat.

I moved from Rochester to the Bradenton/Sarasota area. Well, I'm going to school there at least. And in my case, I NEED A/C. I wear a shirt and tie everyday, and I would sweat through my shirt if I didn't have it. Especially with the black interior, even with the tinted windows, I need it.Originally Posted by Monzaveo
Now if you work in construction or something where appearances/sweat doesn't matter, I'd say go for it. But just remember in July and August, it will be 95 and humid every day.
Anyone in tampa have a place i can stay this weekend?
Not in Florida anymore, but I moved here from Port Charlotte back in '06
No AC in Florida...HAHAHAHAHA
Between the rain & the steam. People here in Panama complain about the heat...they have NO idea.

Hey Scott - welcome to the forum.
How you liking the car? Feel free to chime in ...
Are you happy with your Aveo?
Why did you buy your Aveo?
Im loving it so far. Just reading all the posts on here. I got 56,000 miles on it and now seeing the timing belt is a problem for everyone. Scared but what can you do?
You can change it before it snaps...? J/K buddy. It says change at 60K I think, but being as you bought it used correct? You never know what the service record is like. I would suck it up and change it, it's fairly easy for anyone with basic mechanic's skills.Originally Posted by Skalvinek
