Just wanted to start a Thread for all Michigan Aveo Owners!
just introduce yourself and what gen Aveo you own.
some pics are always nice and say hey to your fellow Michiganders!
LOL, to tell you the truth, I'll probably blow by you as best I can because I like to pretend I'm fast. So If you ever see a 2010 Red hatch with vortex generators, It's me
How would I spot your vortex if you're flying past me?
I go to church every sunday but let me know when and where you meet with the car group and I'll see if I can squeeze it in by the end of the summer. If I do I'll bring a camera and we'll get pics.
Lol, they're just shark fins on the rear that help to reduce drag. Not sure If they do too much for city, otherwise I'd recommend them to you, but they look pretty cool and were only 20 bucks! But the meet is at 18 mile and Ryan, in the VG's/O'reileys(sp?) parking lot. We usually start it at 8pm and got to at least 10:30, I work in the strip mall there so I always show up eventually haha.
Hey there, no real car meets anymore as some of the locals have really screwed things up for us, but I'd be down for an aveo meet every now and then. I'm in Sterling heights, so I'm not too far from you. I've got a '10 hatch with some mods. I'd like to know when people are free and we can start meeting up when we've got a free day.
The Aveo sure gets a bad rep in the interwebs; but I sure like mine. Wish I had found this forum a lot earlier. I'd welcome a gathering some time to swap stories.
I'm getting mine back from the body shop tomorrow, so ill definitely be doing a lot of driving lol. If you wanna meet up tomorrow I'd be fine with that. I don't have too many mods done, but just a few that matter lol. Window tints, lowering springs, intake and 2" straight pipe with muffler of course, and I've got it tuned. Unfortunately mine is just an automatic. I'd be interested to know everyones age, just to see how much variance we have in the aveo community. I'm 21 myself.
