Frontier DSL is just as good.
finished my last exam and graduated yesturday at 10 pm, at 6 am today i went to rochester and now i have a place to live, brand spanking new townhouse on elmwood ave in a suburb of Brighton NY, its 4 min away from my medical school (university of Rochester), and is in walking distance from rochester psych center, and close to Highland and Strong hospital.
who is near there? i need friends, lol

I'll be around in November and December... which is a while from now. I've got a few friends in med school at U of R, and one of my friends lives pretty close to there too. I might be rotating at Strong for a bit in November, but will mostly be out on East Henrietta Rd. I just finished my 2nd year of medical school last week, just have to take Step 1 of the boards in a month. 2 more years to go!
Good luck with everything. Hopefully you'll be able to meet some people at school. If you have any questions about the area, feel free to ask.
with a new place, new city, and new school, i want a new iphone, and a new car (jk, can't afford to pay for gas in my lol aveo let alone geting a second car right now)
speaking of gas, i filled up on elmwood and Henrietta yesturday at 2.10 a gallon that makes it around 56 cents per liter, here in Canada i am lucky if i get anything cheaper of 88 cents per liter.
lol, but i want an iphone. anyone know if i can get one with out a data plan and pay-as-you-go from AT&T?
thanks everyone for answering my questions

Yeah, but its super expensive... http://www.cnn.com/2009/TECH/03/19/iphone.contract/Originally Posted by deniswhite1
that is super expansive, the thing is we are geting brand new ipod touches as part of our tuitions at rochester University, and the Dean said that we are free to exchange em for iphones as the medical software will work on the iphone also. i still don't know how much extra it will be for an iphone, it might even be the same price or a bit cheaper because itouchs are 229$ and iphones are 199$ witha 2 year contract (i was told that you can't buy one with a 2 year contract).
when you go and buy the new iphone, you give them money and they give you the phone, and then you go home and do the activation/contract through the itunes or do you have to sign the contact to get your hands on the phone, caz what if im geting it for someone as a gift?
