Hey everyone! I just purchased an 04 Aveo hatchback in bright ass red, and I wanted to know if there's any aveoheads in Vegas?! I am also curious as to whether or not there are any Aveo car meets here? My aveo is bonestock but I plan on lowering it, putting some wheels on it, and possibly a roof rack. I also welcome any suggestions! I got the car from a mutual friend for $500 bucks, with no AC! So, it'll be in the shop, and I gotta pay for a whole new AC system cause the compressors shot, but no biggie! I've seen some sick aveo's on this site and I can't wait to join the fun! \/

That may just be a shadow, I don't think I have a spoiler haha, sorry for the crappy cell phone pic! I actually got it from my boyfriend's brother's best friend's mother-in-law. Basically the a/c has been out for awhile and they didn't really wanna invest in fixing it and it's starting to get in the triple digits out here, so they went and bought a new car and wanted to get rid of this one. It has 62k miles and it's automatic. Once it gets out of the shop i'm gonna start browsing through threads on here to see what the most common lowering springs are that you guys use.

Yes, you do have one. And the first question I'd ask the people you bought it from if the timing belt has been changed. They break on these cars around 60k miles often and do a lot of damage when they do it too. Something to take care of while it's in the shop.
