09 aveo transmission gear oil change

where is the filler plug,
the bolts on that pic donest look like a plug
and i cant find that round thing with just the hood opened

differential cover, does it mean the black pan under the trans?

that is the entire process as described from the aveo manual, so yes that picture is aveo specific.

"the same fluid is in both units *bracket* shared *bracket" ------ so fill this hole will fill both unit ?

I am going from my general knowledge and the manual, which starts this is how to check the "transmission fluid level"

It also says it take 2 quarts of fluid (in a chart) for the d16. 2 quarts is way too much just for the differential.

diff cover refers to the side plate near where the axle comes out.

Ok, so I have the left wheel off and I am looking directly where that fill hole should be and there is nothing but aluminum casing. 2008 aveo sv Any ideas because mine is also leaking out the gasket and a little out the trans axle.
