I've got a 2004 Aveo i bought for my girlfriend, since buying it , I've chased a road noise. Replaced cv shafts, hubs, wheel bearings, tires, control arms, end links , basically everything in the front , and the frame bushings in the rear . Not to mention struts and shocks all the way around. Still experiencing a roaring down the road . Finally found out it's bad bearings in the transmission, I've decided to swap the transmission myself. But have never done any type of transmission repaires before. So far I've taken out the cv shafts and taken the battery and tray out . As well as the starter. Just looking for some advice or maybe a step by step on what to do next . The Haynes repair manual doesn't give me much. So I'm just looking for a step by step removal of the transmission. What to disconnect and what bolts that need taken out. Or even where to find said information . Thanks in advance !!
