2009 Aveo TPS and IAC valve location

I am an older (75) retiree and intend to take my 1.6 litre throttle body off and clean it and replace the aforesaid parts with new. My tb is one that is held by 4 torx screws. I tried tracing the wires back to where the TPS and IAC are located. The repair manual gives little reference as to where they are. Thankyou George near Toronto

I think the sensor on your year car is integrated to the throttle body and not replaceable. Someone with more experience on your year may be of more help.

Thank you very much for your insight. It should have dawned on me when reading the page for the LXV engine which is where my throttle body picture is, and no mention of TPS or IAC meant exactly that. My mechanic always wrote that the car was LXT on his bills. George

Had one on a 2009 replaced with a Bosch TB. I took it apart and it's not replaceable or removable unless you destroy it a part is permanently attached like something is welded preventing you from removing the TPS and there is no IAC ECM controls the TB for idle opening If I remember right, you can pop the clips off the cover and remove just the cover but no more than that.

on a 2008 you can take it completely apart and put back together

Chevrolet 2009 to 2011 Pontiac 2009 -2010 are LXV and have VVT
