Hi there, I owned Aveo 2007, T250 Model, but the engine equipped is F14D3 (Daewoo 1.4 ltr engine) with Cable throttle to pedal(Not drive-by-wire). I would like to know if there is a chance I can install cruise control ? factory look cruise control will be cool. If i can, may i know the part number for the clock spring w/ audio switch and cruise control switch wires. Please advice the rest, Thank you !

      P.S. I came from Thailand

Hi, my name's Jonathan, I'm also living in Thailand and running an Aveo. I don't think any Aveo is sold in Thailand equipped with cruise control, if you look here even the range-topping Aveo 1.4 LUX doesn't appear to have one. You could buy an aftermarket kit from a seller on ebay, just search for 'Aveo cruise control' - I'm not sure what import duties or taxes the Thai customs might impose though! I ordered a scan gauge e from the contacts on this aveo forum and it arrived promptly and without any additional taxes - these cruise control kits don't seem much bigger so probably ship fine.

And here I thought I might be the only with an Aveo in Thailand and came to this forum. What's more, I actually am living in the same province as you, I understand that it is not factory equipped but usually, if they are not being too cheap, the wiring with the cluster and the rest of the harness might still be there, just may be.

I drive about 120 km daily, I know that compared to many people's daily drive in this forum, the distance might sound puny but the driving has already taking its toll on me ! My knee start hurting frequently, and Thai massage is not helping. Therefore, I might resort to cruise control if possible. May be I might just change to a second hand cruze, but it is still expensive with second hand price at the moment...

My car is a drive-by-wire vehicle and my installation would only work for a drive-by-wire car. There are universal cruis control kits available for cars with cable throttle cars. An internet search will turn up something for you.

      Good luck.

Same as with an automatic as long as the car is in gear (any gear as long as the speed is at least 25 miles per hour). The cruise is cancelled when the clutch is depressed.
Sorry GM, the Turbo Sonic was priced too close to the Focus ST. I gots me a Ford.

the indicator SHOULD be in your Instrument Cluster. Its JUST Above the 'Hold' Light. (if you have the automatic)

My cluster does not have the LED on the circuit board, but the cruise indicator is visible on the gauge face if viewed from the correct angle.

If the cruise control option is available on the Aveo in Russia, you should be able to use the cruise switch to make it work.
