At the other side of the plug there is one black wire going to the steering wheel
Please anyone can help me? Any other advice?
Thank you.
from you posts i feel like you have a different harness, does your car have airbags?
pictures of the column with the clam shell off?
Sorry but i don't understand, what is a "harness" and a the "clam shell"? My car have airbags.
Here is a photo from under the steering wheel:
Here ir another one, as you can see i have the airbag logo:
Thank you again.
that one black wire is for the horn.
what Petrified Rabbit means is take the Steering Column Covers off (the plastic pieces that cover up the wiring for the Ignition Switch, and the Wiper and Turn Signal/Headlight Switch Stalks.) and Harness is just the Layman's Terms for the Wiring.
to Petrified Rabbit: he has the C99 Air Bags.
EDIT: Lucky Duck, You've got the DIC!
C99 airbags would still need two wires running to the bag in the steering wheel.
The single black wire could be going to the ignition tumbler for the lock, and he is looking at the wrong harness. unless the horn wire splits from the other harness at the clock spring plug, which i don't think was the case on my car.
Ok, here are some photos with the clam shell off with much better quality (i got my camera back) click on them for full quality (5mpx photos) i haven't attached them to the post because it would broke the thread:
