      Are you one the column side of the plug? if so, check the other side?

      At the other side of the plug there is one black wire going to the steering wheel

      from you posts i feel like you have a different harness, does your car have airbags?

      pictures of the column with the clam shell off?

      Sorry but i don't understand, what is a "harness" and a the "clam shell"? My car have airbags.

      what Petrified Rabbit means is take the Steering Column Covers off (the plastic pieces that cover up the wiring for the Ignition Switch, and the Wiper and Turn Signal/Headlight Switch Stalks.) and Harness is just the Layman's Terms for the Wiring.

      to Petrified Rabbit: he has the C99 Air Bags.

      C99 airbags would still need two wires running to the bag in the steering wheel.

      The single black wire could be going to the ignition tumbler for the lock, and he is looking at the wrong harness. unless the horn wire splits from the other harness at the clock spring plug, which i don't think was the case on my car.

      you have the Trip Computer Odometer, which in the US is called the Driver Information Center (DIC for short)
