Add extra LED strip to interior boot/trunk light?

Have the 300mm strip, soldered 2 wires, see the existing bulb, how would you guys connect it?

On a previous car I just soldered the wires to the metal end of the bulb and put it back into the holder?

And which fuse would it be? I see 2 marked cluster?

Is it supposed to be a running light (comes on with parking lights)? Or a 3rd brake light?

Need an extra light in the boot for loading wheelchair at night, comes on with the normal boot light.

Ah, interior light.

I would splice it to the wiring of the existing interior boot light, or to the bulb itself as you say.

You've done it before, so you realize there's a polarity requirement for the LED to work. Test before you solder.

Not sure which fuse it is. It'll be an "always" hot circuit, so probably not the cluster lights.
