WOW!
I'm going to be replacing my timing belt today.... and just last night I paid $25 for the chiltonDIY.com online version.
This one is actually MUCH better!

Thank you x100!
Wish me luck!
The 2004 audio- radio wiring appears to be different than 2005+
I like to have hard copies of things like this, so I ended up ordering the 2006 Aveo manual from Helm...that was an easy way to spend a hundred and fifty three dollars! This thing is two volumes and covers material that nobody in the USA or Canada is ever going to run into, but I guess that GM only wanted to print one English language manual for worldwide use. Can't really say I blame them.
Hopefully I can track down the reason my air bag warning light is staying on...does anyone know where the OBD II connector plug is located on one of these things?
I would just like to have one. Alaska tears vehicles apart, especially the sensors.
For the '04 Underneath the dash on the driver's right side. Start at the ignition and go down and you should feel just after the cover cuts off.
Yeah, that's pretty much where it is on the '06 model also. It also shows the location in the manual on page 10-36. It also appears that the OBD II scan tool should be able to turn off the airbag warning light, but unless you fix the underlying Diagnostic Trouble Code it's just probably going to go right back on.
Being that I have the GM manual on hand, I am willing to share information with other members of the forum. It may take me a few days to get back to you on something since I don't have a home computer, but if you need something I can help with, then fire away!
