Not sure, you'll have to find which one the wire colors match up.

Being more of a lurker than an active member, I'm generally not one to resurrect an old thread, but this one tripped my trigger. I ordered the cruise switch from GM Parts Direct for $38.00 and added 6' of 20ga wire and two 1/8" female spade connectors. I located the wires coming down from the clockspring and noticed that I only had the horn wire on the steering wheel side of the connector, but had the full complement of wires on the body side. I grabbed the gray and brown wires, cut them and spliced the switch in with a couple of 18 ga butt connectors. Well, I'll be darned... cruise control works!! With a little deft Dremel work, I mounted the switch to the left side of the lower column cover and it looks like it grew there. K, it's upside down, but I know where the buttons are, and you can't really tell until you're right up on it. All in all, it was a great and simple project and so so appreciated. Thank you, forum, and thanks to the member who posted the video about finding the proper wires. You guys rock!!

Since you don't have the wires in pins 4 & 7 of connector C2 (white clockspring connector) You'd need to go to the firewall at connector C205 and tap into the wires on pins 5 & 12.

If there isn't a wire going to the ECM from pin 5 on that connector, You'd need to find a way to tap into pin 45 on the ECM.
      Hello This Slamrod,

I'm having some troubles installing my CC.

I don't have the wires that go to the Steering Wheel.
I think my only way of doing it is taping into the firewall itself, but my car is a 2011 version so this diagram of the firewall doesn't match.

Do have by any chance something like this for a 1.4 LT 2011 Aveo?

      Thanks!

If I wasn’t currently traveling out of the country, I would take a peek at my service manual.

Don't worry. When could I remind you of it?

On the other hand, what kind of voltage is expected?

I'm thinking I will just try every pin in the firewall until I find the working one. Would that be any dangerous?

AHHHH I get it. It's a voltage level signal. If you look inside the switch it changes the voltage depending on an internal resistance value. Look at the schematic and you can see tiny rectangles. It's working as a voltage divider. They only way this will work for you that have the correct switch from chevy. Much different from the signal on my car
Please do not power off, firmware update pending.....

I do actually have the original switch from Chevy, but in the Chevrolet they told me that my car doesn't come with CC out of the fabric.

Do you think that maybe the ECM is not prepared (software/ firmware related) to get CC signals?
