My car is a driven-by-wire 1.2 Spanish Aveo. I asked the official mechanics from RAHN which is the brand that does the maintenance to all Chevrolet cars when Chevrolet left Europe a couple years ago, and they told me that "in theory your car's ECU doesn't have the necessary code to detect and run the controller inputs since it wasn't built with it in mind at the fabric. But the only real way to make sure is trial and error because we don't can't know for sure if chevrolet installed that part of the code or not. But don't mess too much with the ECU because you could permanently damage it or the engine, or even make the airbags pop out"...

So I was really disappointed and just stopped trying.

But if you have any clue I'm open to try again!
