Hi, I own a 2005 Chevy Aveo LS sedan, and recently I would be driving down the street normally when my daytime lights would start to flicker and then eventually shut off until the E-Brake is pulled up then down again. I had heard that the DRL can be disabled via a plug above the gas pedal, and underneath the dashboard. I have tried furiously to pull this plug out, but no dice. I can feel and see that there are 2 blue tabs sticking out of the wiring harness, and I have tried to squeeze those tabs and pull but that was not successful. I can also feel that there is another "press in and pull" type thing on the side of the module. I've tried to hold that down and pull on the tabs but still wouldn't budge.

So, I was wondering what the process was to remove the wiring harness and disable the DRL's?
