Factory alarm problem

My wife is very happy with her 2007 Aveo, no problems ever, until today she opened the front door and the factory alarm went over, the only way to silence it was by disconnecting the battery, any ideas on how to disable it or resetit? thanks

I believe the alarm has its own fuse, I may be wrong though.

I've been looking for the fuse but not luck, yesterday I called the dealership but they put me on hold for 20min+ I'll call today again but no answer O_o
