I guess the answer is yes if it's the same thread. Like Ivy said, you can just use your hands. I think they have to tool there to keep the stress even. It's pretty damn hard just to pull one out.

I have a better suggestion. Once you figure out the thread pitch, just get two long bolts through one strip of wood. Then the wood is a handle to pull the entire assembly.
