The belt is on.
Mark the old belt and transfer the marks to the new belt to insure corrent alignment of everything.
Trick!
.Use the pin in the tensioner.
.Do not snug the tensioner up all the way to the block so it can rotate and the spring steel tab can move around.
.Turn the tensioner clockwise so the eccentric is at the lowest point.
.Obtain belt slack of needed by rotating crank.
.Slide the belt on
.Remove the camshaft pulley restraints.
.Rotate the tensioner unit counter clockwise until the spring steel tab fits into the machined slot
.Rotate the hex hey clockwise and pull the pin out.
.Torque everything down
Now the bad:
.Hex key hole is all messed up and rounded out in some places, tensioner cannot be reused.
.If we had the flex plate bolt it would have held the crank where it needed to be.
.Took two of us.
Now everything else has to be put together plus the cooling system that was already taken apart.
