that duct may be fine for rich people like you, but my tube is for people on the cheap! lol. The ducting does look nicer though, may even provide a better airflow path, but hey the GOAT is all about evolving but saying to its roots

$20 is rich? okay... just a suggestion instead of the duct tape and zip ties. I'm sure they both provide similar results just look a bit different. if you can lay down $20, I say do it.

thought about it but I don't want a rock or something to fly thru the duct and possibly damage something. I'll drill in all the holes to keep the 'mesh' as a preventive to that.

      Re: GOAT air intake

if you have a rock go that far up into ur intake, then thats just ****ed up. u shouldnt have any probs. when i had my ram air, it was wide open, and i was using a much bigger hose than what that "scoop" is. u should be fine, but...

      Re: GOAT air intake

this is just a curiousity question. is there any benefit to removing the resonator box, and leaving the stock airbox in the car? i've heard people reference this before?

It just removes a restriction in the intake path, and weight reduction!
