Will check at what rpm the stock system becomes restrictive at wot. I've got a vacuum gauge installed now. It should be pretty easy to tell.

I leased Pontiac Wave from September 2006 to August 2011.
Take the resonator off, and run a K&N replacement filter for the stock airbox. While you're doing this, add the Spectre flex tube for the ram air, drilling ALL the holes(about 34) out of the honeycomb collector(we'll call it) on the front bumper with a 1/4 size drill bit, and add the ram tube. Secure it with some RVT silicone adhesive, or drill a hole thru collector and ram tube for a pop rivet. Fit the bottom 2" stock air box hole into the ram air tube, and bolt it down. You're into an easy intake for about 60 bucks, and a couple hours. Weight reduction in removing resonator is effective, but minimal. Only thing that will help is if you move your battery to the passenger back seat floor, or the trunk. Put it in a battery box. That will balance the weight a little better, when you're driving solo. Just tell your back seat passenger to keep his/her feet off the battery!
see I am a little hesitant about doing that because it will be a closed system and run the risk of creating enough vacuum to suck up water.Originally Posted by SGAveoGuy
Mist, or deep water? Add a FUJITSU BYPASS TUBE.
