Re: Home Depot garage door front lip
my name is gump....people call me forrest gump. and thats all i have to say about that.
Re: Home Depot garage door front lip
I applied it, exacally like shown. with the exception of the tape used... i tried a less abrasive tape just incase i didnt like it.
No pictures, but thinking back it should have. It was simply too agressive. i was looking for a slight rake, to strait down... mine nearly stuck strait out....
Might, for the sake of Visuals, put it on again just so you guys can see....

happy modding
leave it black the paint will prolly chip id it gets hit by a stone on the highway and the carbon fiber rolls look like crap and they prolly wont stick on very long if you want carbon fiber buy it and mold one its not to hard if you can make a mold first alternativly fiberglass kits are cheap to make a better one

i was thinking that myself.... if the rubber is stiff enough i may even try to paint when i put it on-its a long shot but it may work.
Yeah, check out Krylon Fuzion paint for plastics. It's nice cuz' it's self-etching so you don't have to sand to make it stick. That's what I paint all my interior pieces with in my cars so I can retain the factory texture on the panels. I may try this on my 09' hatch.
