I know this thread is about 3yrs old but i hate starting new ones with a similar question/idea. I have a 08 sedan aveo lt (USA) and the center vent grille is broken. Do you have to remove the radio to access the panel on post #15, or can i just pry it off leaving the radio intact. Thanks
Going to say yes. But is the out side part of the grill that need replaced or the vent does not put out air?
If it's the round grill only it make it easier to take off the face plate around the radio to replace it. If the vent you still have to remove it to check the vent.

It is just the round part that open and closes the vent. The piece that connects the 2 flaps has snapped and its harder to position the vent to get good air flow. Thanks for the reply, it being so old i didnt have any hope for a reply :cool:
