How the heck do I fold down the rear seat in my Aveo5??

I just got my new Aveo5 yesterday and am so excited!! But I am trying to fold down the back seat so it lies flat. I cannot understand the final step in the owner's manual!!

Can someone clever give me instructions for what you do after you fold the back down so you get the cargo area to end up flat??

There is a black plastic pin up in the top of the back seats on each side, just pull them up, flip the seat back down and flip the whole thing forward. They end up folding against the back of your front seats.

Not sure if the 2010 seat mechanism is unchanged from the '04 model, but you can watch the reviewer flip the folded rear seat against the backs of the front seats at 2:09 in this vid about the 2004 Aveo:

The mechanism might be different though. When I looked at a '10 model, the sales person said the older cars also had a quick release pins that let you detach the entire folded rear seat to easily remove it from the car (like minivans do). But the '10 didn't have them.

tp get the seats flat and "even" with the truck floor you have to fold the seat bottom forward. it flips up from the back and swings into the rear seat foot well.

Seat is up and dog crates are in the car. We are ready to ride! :-)

HAVE FUN WITH YOUR NEW AVEO. I LIKE MY SIZE CARS I WAS A BIG HONDA GIRL AND I ALWAYS WANTED A HATCHBACK AND COMPACT CAR LIKE THE 2005 HONDA SI HATCHBACK OR THE CRX AND DEL SOL. BUT THIS CAR AT A LOW PRICE AN WHAT I CAN AFFORD IS JUST AS GOOD. AND HONDA PRECISION....YEA THAT WAS A FUNNY ONE HUH WOLFMAN. OR I THINK THAT WAS YOU WHO SAID IT.

anyways HEY the vid says the Ls is All electric but mines not!!! it came with spoiler and 15inch wheels <- that i love. also mp3. about it
