How to remove the cloth / plastic piece on the roof, to soundproof the metal?

As you may or may not know, the Aveo holds up pretty well against a subs attacks. Took my hatch apart, and added some tape and other fun things to make it stop vibrating. but now my biggest issue is the roof. the plastic thing vibrates A LOT, as to create a very distracting sound that takes away from the experience. i was wondering, how might you take it off so i can soundproof it?

the plastic surrounds and such can be sound proofed, pull it apart, put foam washers on all the attachment points, some dynamat on the car and a light strip on the plastic, contact cement on the clips to hold them tight to the panel, and put it back together.
