Markstack, if you are anywhere near a Canadian Tire or Parts Source (same company), you can loan the Front Wheel Bearing kit from them, free of charge. If you have any questions, just let me know and I'll try to walk you through it.Superb article Whitefish. fantastic. I have been struggling with the drive hub all day. But I don't have your tool and quite frankly, do not see how it works. But it has given me some ideas. thanks.
Making the jig took me about 1/2 an hour and cost me around $10. I had considered taking off the spindle arms, but this would throw the alignment out and result in more work/cost. Plus, pressing out the bearings and putting in the new ones would be $100 minimum here, not to mention finding a shop that would actually do it.
