I am having trouble locating the idle air control valve on my 2006 chevy aveo now i have replaced it on my other car its usually located right on the throttle body but i cant see it at all if any body could let me know that would be great i need detailed instructions also if any body knows where i can get like a haynes manual or something like that i would appreciate that as well
No haynes out for these cars yet. as for the manual, there is a thread in here with one you can get from a torrent. A looot of good information in there. Just search for it.

There appears to be 2 styles of throttle bodies for these vehicles. The one posted above and a fly by wire type like I have on mine (06 Aveo LS hatchback). I am dealing with a stumble with idle on my car and tried to find the IAC and found that it did not have one. The idle is controlled by a electric motor mounted in the TB. I tried a self learn idle proceedure I found on a service manual from a Kalos but it did not seem to work. (I suspect this may be do to the ECM in my car being different that the Kalos so I have to find the correct proceedure). I am posting a pic of my TB, if you have this style is is a fly by wire and which is quickly identified by the lack of a throttle cable. I am not sure how much this helps but it may help clear things for you.

How do you take that part out and would water in fuel make engine idel roughly
You remove the throttle body (4x 10mm bolts) and then remove the IAC valve from the TB itself (2x Phillips head bolts). And yes, contaminated gas can make an engine idle rough
