here are my gauges
so i am almost done but the A/F gauge is acting funny. it just seems to go all over the place and not really read anything. anybody have exp with these?
it seems to be super sensitive and like amost all the lights are on at any given time
does it have a function to set the parameters? i think the "good" ones also have like a capacitor type thing so it takes more of an average reading than instantanious.?
it doesnt say anything aobut all that. i hooked it into the O2 in the Header. if you look at where the o2 plugs into the harness it is on the opposite end of the plug as the sensor. Using a voltmeter i connected it to the one reaing .25v. the other three wires were ground and 12v. is it in the right location? the directions said O2 closest to the head but should i change it?
its a sunpro brand.
If you are using a narrowband then it sux and is more of a light show than anything. you want a true A/F reading get a wideband installed.
thats what i've been reading online, of course after i bought it... lolz.
i think i'll try hooking it to the other sensor but i wanted to know before hand if that sort of thing could happen from improper hookup somehow.
