Ok I've had LED's shining on the floors that are controlled by a switch for a while now. I was wondering the easiest way to hook them up so i could use a switch to turn them on and off and have them light up when the doors are open.

There are several mechanical switches to use on the door that you can place near your light and the door. The other and more elegant solution is to use the same circuit for the dome light. I was going to find the circuit diagram but my link for the kalos manual is broken.
Please do not power off, firmware update pending.....
you can also use the door jam switch it is what turns the light on when the door is open. it is usually a ground so you would have to hook the power up to constant 12 v and you can add the switch in the middle of that connection, and the ground can go to the door jamb switch. i dont have the car with me today but if you still need it i can get pictures for you.
