      quick ways to drop weight

So, I've removed my rear seats and spare tire, and I'm looking for more quick and somewhat easy ways to drop some pounds. Not looking to spend a lot of money either. I would like some nice buckets, but those can be pricey...
I've considered tearing the carpet out, but I don't want my interior to look like poop. Any other ideas?

they have nice seats for cheaper

2x Universal Black Stitch JDM Turino Sport Racing Bucket Seats Driver/Passenger | eBay

these seats would fit one of our members are running this style of seat. They aren't bride or recaro but they will get the job done for less i bought mine over here they are similar but orange and black. im just waiting till i get back to the states to unhook the side airbags since i need them to pass inspection here. Rocket is right about a/c it saves a few extra and frees up a little hp not much. The front struts and rear shocks way a ton compared to the coilover conversion and if you have a sun roof that's a lot of weight to but i enjoy mine to much to get rid of it.

Car doesn't have a/c, thanks for the link, brand isn't important to me, price is. Also I've been meaning to do the coilover conversion. Thanks

Edit: wouldn't I need seat brackets too?

they should mount up with minimal issues. Brai on page 18 of garage is running recaro seats i dont think he had to do anything. I never got a chance to ask him though.

Already removed the subs for weight loss. Those were 100lbs or so lol. And I'm not sure about power steering, having driven a car without it working I could barely turn the wheel at low speeds. But this is with the pump still installed, so it is twice the effort (or so I am told)

Well, pretty much right. Cars/trucks without Power Steering have a Lower Ratio Gear Box making it easier to steer. It just takes more turns. Power assisted Steering Gear Boxes have a Higher Ratio "less turns" but because of the Hydraulic Assist it's still easier. But what really sucks is a broken Power Steering setup because it's super hard compared to a Manual Steering setup.

Is there an option for Manual Steering on Aveo's or from another car that's similar?

I'm not sure about Aveo's but sometimes Doors have heavy insulation...
