Haven't gotten all the way under the back but can anyone tell me if there's anything special I need to know? Is it the typical GM set-up that requires removing a plug on the backing plate and sticking a screwdriver through to the adjuster? Do you know off hand if you go up on the driver's side & down on the passenger side to tighten or vice versa?

OK, so I finally got under the car and found there is no access plug for the self adjusters and pulling the drum is the only way to manually adjust. Drum was held on by 2 good sized flat head phillip screws which easily loosened using a 12" #3 phillips screwdriver. Passenger side required 3-4 clicks while the drivers side was only 1-2. I tightened them until the drum wouldn't go on and then back them off until the drum JUST went on without any undo force. Hope this helps the next guy.

i believe using your ebrake/brake pedal should adjust them out as well. I have not had to try it to any success. But that is how the linkage "works"
