HI, ON MY 2005 THE REAR AXLE NUT IS CALLED A CHAULKING NUT, DO I JUST PUT A SOCKET ON IT AN REMOVE? MINE HAS A PEN OR CHISEL MARK ON IT FROM THE FACTORY LIKE THEY SMACKED IT INTO THE AXLE MAYBE FOR LOCKING PURPOSE, I AM USE TO OLD SCHOOL CASLE NUT AN COTTER PIN, I JUST DONT WANT TO DAMAGE ANYTHING AN WOULD I HAVE TO USE NEW NUTS WHEN I INSTALL? un-bend where they smashed it and remove nut with impact wrench. You can re-use it. I can't remember the torque spec on it though.. 150 or 220ft-lbs.
