Rear seat replacement options? 2011 aveo

Hi all,

Just purchased a used 2011 aveo. It's in decent condition, 65k miles. I wanted to replace the rear seat as the previous owner transported their dog in the rear seat which cause a rip in the stitching on the passenger side seat.

I figured I have 3 options:

1. Replace the whole back seat
2. Replace only the seat cover
3. Have the existing seat cover repaired

I would prefer option 1 since it feels like a cleaner solution - no incorrect stitching possible.

So I've been shopping for replacement back seats, but I can't tell if the <2011 non Aveo5 seats would be compatible with my 2011 hatchback. Does anyone know if they are compatible?

Do you think they would know cross compatibility? I have been shopping junk yards and have been quoted $100-125, but none of them were from a 2011 hatchback. All were sedans, and 08-11.

If you tell the hatcheck, they should know compatibility. If all you need is a bottom, they should be able to accommodate you.

Just for future reference, still not sure if a sedan back seat is compatible with a hatchback back seat, but my local junk yard didn't know that one of their 3 aveos was a hatch, so I was able to get the right back seat
