      Removing rear light

      Hi I have a taillight that has water in it and I would like to remove the light to take out the water and hopefully reseal it and put it back.I tried removing light but scareed to break it, it does move but only a bit,just wondering how to do this?

      try whacking it with your hand along side the car (pulling back from 1/4 at like a 45* angle) while pulling on the inside of the light.

      it has to go out straight. to if you twist the light it will lock tighter and break things.

      Try #2 for a reply.

      I tried yanking with all my might and using a putty knife (which cracked it). Somehow in all my yanking and jostling, the turn signal started working agian, but it sucks to know that next time it fails I have to go to a mechanic to do something that should be child's play.

      just keep pulling straight out it will eventually come, get your fingers behind inside edge (where screws were) and work around to top edge, you need to overcome the grip of two plastic pins about an inch in from out side edge, work it out rocking slightly from top and bottom edge.
