Hi,
I have a pretty serious belt squeaking problem. I tried to get a better look at the tensioner but it is buried pretty deep in the engine bay. I took the power steering belt off and the right front light off but still could barely see it. Have anybody been able to take it off from the engine bay? I think I'm going to try from underneath, should have a better view after taking off some plastic trim.
I tried the ''spray water on the pulleys trick'' to figure out if my belt was just going bad, the water didn't change the noise. The noise is not from the power steering pump because it didn't stop after taking the belt off. I figured it could be a bad tensioner. The squeaking is pretty much going on all the time now. Anybody experienced this?
Thx
