      Re: Short Shifter Swap

SO I did it today. I made mine longer on the long side than yours, and extended the piece with the two black caps on it as well. I really like it, but I dont know if it was worth my time for the difference. It would have probably been easier for me to get one from you.

SO in conclusion, if you want this, just buy one from rabbit, its so much more work than I thought it was gonna be.

The stock throw is 6" measured your way. Pm me when you have one ready.

      it is #10, yes.

its all math. I do the math based on how short the shift they want ( i would not suggest less than 40%).

you take the measures center to center to center, and i believe i brought the shifter side 10mm and the tranny side out @ 20 mm. With the original lengths that was about a 35% decrease. But i would need to recheck at this point, i think i posted it somewhere.

I will be selling these on an exchange basis, for just enough to buy materials and time put in.

Although you can do it yourself, they will be painted better, but the modification, requires welding, replacing the arm, having a drill press, and cutting/shaping 1/8th inch steel.

Also at this length the side to side arm is still usable unmodified. you would need to lengthen the arm (rod with black end clips in the pictures) you could also lengthen the arms on those to shorten the side to side. But then you need more geometry.

      Is this the specs?...

      I make in this order...

1.- Correct Exhaust line, and custom header at inox, and mandrel bent tube pipe, with DEI kit warp header cover...

2.- Thorttle body boring at 1mm or 2mm of diámeter, with AEM CAI and Apexi Dual funnel Filter...

      3.- Short shiffter make...

I hope do it before april...
