      Shorten Your Antenna

Whew is that antenna long or what. I'm not tring to pick up Europe. What I did was unscrew it to take it off. Put the antenna in a vice and pull gently on the end to take the end nipple off. Then cut the antenna in half with a hack saw. Then slowly push and work the end nipple back on. Screw the antenna back in and there you go..
Funny, even with the antenna completely off. I picked up all the main FM stations just fine. With the antenna half the size now. Everything is just as strong now as with the full antenna. Plus I not whacking the car port cover every time I pull in and out. Neat.. Km

I picked a FM buster it worked great you plug it into the antenna and then the wire goes to the blue antenna wire or + wire.

Thank you for sharing. I will do the same. My antenna can compete with a skyscraper right now.
